There’s no doubt that buying a car is easy for many people out there but to maintain a car is not as hassle free as one may think. There are many things to take charge of after the purchases such as the changing of engine oil, air filter, car tires replacement and alignment, protecting that shine on your car, renewing of the road tax or even getting the cheapest auto insurance that would suit your needs. Well, your new “babe” would surely need lots of your attention after owning her from now onwards. LOL!
There are a few notes that I would like to stress on while you own a car. Firstly, it the golden rule of “Don’t Drink and Drive”. There’s nothing wrong with having some happy times in life but if you are under the influence of alcohol, it would be better to let someone else sober do the driving instead. If not, just take a cab home and make sure your car is securely locked and appropriately parked.
Secondly, it’s the “Don’t Text & Drive” even if you really need to send an urgent text messaging to just anyone. Pull over your car and park at a safe spot that would not obstruct any traffic and make whatever calls or text messages you would need to do before proceeding to your next destination.
The latest concern by the respective authorities sparked another new distraction while driving. It’s the “Don’t Eat and Drive” policy. Through a recent survey, it was found that many drivers would commit such an act due to their hectic lifestyle. Meals on wheels had become a norm in the lives of many drivers. There have been many reported accident cases caused by the distractions from spilled drinks, ketchups or even falling asleep from a “too heavy meal” while driving. If you intend to eat, do it in a safe spot and not while driving. Make sure you are not drowsy after each meal before driving off.

Instead of going out to enjoy the bright and sunny weekend, I decided to stay home for some relaxation after a long week of stressful projects. Slumping on my lazy man’s couch with a bucketful of caramelized popcorns, I decided to watch some adventurous movies on the tube. At least, it would not be as tiring as my usual weekend adventurous trip in search of excitements with my friends. Well, adventurers do need some rest too right? 😛
There was this movie about a family’s plan to explore the continent on a long stretch of holidays. Filling up their rented RV with all the necessary items, they embarked on journey that would always be in their nightmares. They did not realize that renting a cheap recreational vehicle (RV) would not save up some amount of money. Eventually, their vehicle met with lots of complication that their so-called happy holiday ended up disastrous. Thus, they spent more on lodging as their vehicle was at the workshop most of the time.
From this movie, I realized how lucky I am to be able to own my vehicle through some rv financing instead of relying on rented ones. I would say it’s a matter of luck as some older RV indeed would have more breakdowns through the years of wearing and tearing. At least, I don’t have to go through the trauma as experienced by that family. I love my RV!

Sometimes you might ask yourself about the quality of your furniture. You paid a bomb for them and yet you don’t see them last as long as you would have expected. The reason behind this is that most of them are manufactured in mass and they do not really provide you with super quality parts, unless you are willing to purchase those custom-made ones with high soaring prices.
Just ask yourself on one scenario. How often do you need to change your furniture casters or perhaps caster brakes? Are they made of high quality that you do not need to worry about them getting spoiled that soon or ever? If I were you, I rather go for the ones with great standard that would get rid of any future stress. There are many great companies out there that produce quality casters in different sizes and shapes, may they be caster brakes, caster wheels, furniture casters or even rigid plate casters. Do find one that would suit your needs.
Many people could not differentiate between a caster and a wheel as most of the time they refer it as the same. In fact, there’s a vast differences. A wheel is referred as a round rubber ball like object that would be able to roll whereas a caster is a wheel which is attached to a bracket (caster bracket) where it is able to swivel 360 degrees. Normally, each set would have a lock.

Ever since her tender years, my sister loved to wear beads wherever she went. Not only was she beautiful with them, she had the taste of getting the best match for all her dresses. During that time, she would always spend hours and hours in local bead shops, looking for the right color contrast for whichever new dress she had purchased. Somehow, that got her to take up a hobby in creating her own style of fashion. She would buy colorful beads and make them into bracelets, anklets and many more that were rather unique by their own. One of the products that I see her purchase very often due to their quality, were the Swarovski Crystal beads.
These crystallized Swarovski Crystal Elements can be used to make any kind of jewelry, such as ring, earrings, bracelet, anklet and necklace. The beads come in many forms and shapes. There’s the cubist, star bead, fish bead, flower bead, wing bead, butterfly and etc too. The best part was that she could easily purchase them online. Moreover, she would save a lot for shipping for over $25 of purchases. The company would deliver them for free.
I should perhaps hire her to make more jewelry for me from time to time as her creations would surely make perfect gifts for Christmas. I can’t wait to see her finished products as my friends would surely love her unique creations.

Some time back last year, I received a registered mail addressed to my name. Upon opening up the mail, I saw a nicely designed wedding invitation card of Joe and Jenny. Finally, those two had decided to tie the knot after being engaged for two years. Time really flew very fast. At that moment, I thought it was another of those hotel receptions where buffet was served towards the end of the couple’s declaration. I was in for a surprise when I saw the venue on the card, “pack your best dress/suit and two days of luggage, you’d be driven to a private reception.” What? I have always known them as an outgoing and adventurous couple but this was something I had not expected from them. I loved surprises and this was one wedding that I would surely not miss out.
On that appointed date, I got my friend to drop me off at Joe’s house. Upon arriving, there was already a big crowd on the charted double decked bus. Sam was there, so were practically the whole university mates of ours. It was like another reunion for us. We departed from Columbia and headed for Duck Village along the southern shores of North Carolina. The sceneries throughout the journey were something I would not forget for ages. We were brought to an oceanfront palatial estate, Royal Caribbean II, a one of a kind luxurious, accommodation in an exclusive community setting. Everyone was dumbfounded by the beauty of the whole setting. There were 8 master suites with private baths, exquisite great room and regal grand dining with unprecedented ocean views on top of all the state-of-the art gadgets scattered all around the abode. There were also rooms for electronic games, billiard tables, ping pong tables and wide screen theatre setting, not forgetting a bunch of outdoor sports you can play with.
Wow! I was as if in my own dream home. I could not resist being pampered in the pool with built-in hot tub, stone fireplace while being blown away with the soothing pool side music. Being the non-traditionalists, I would not have expected that I would be so privileged to be invited to such an exclusive vacation with the wedding couple. It was one of the most comfortable and laid-back weddings I had ever attended. The wedding ceremony was simple but filled with lots of meanings for the couple as they had us, their families and friends, to be there, to appreciate the relationships we had throughout our knowing of each other, and to acknowledge their happiness as a truly wedded couple. There no denying that they had made a right choice by engaging an all inclusive wedding packages that not only would remain in their memories for a lifetime but ours as well.
