video card
I have been having numerous problems with my video card recently. Without any alert, my computer would just reboot itself without allowing me to save whatever I was working on. The worst scenario was when I was in the height of playing some exciting online games. That really got me real crossed as I was not able to save the stage I was in when this happened.
In the end, I was forced to fall back to my built-in video card which was not giving me the clarity and performance as I wanted. I was contemplating to replace my video card with the same model and make. Somehow as I was checking through the wide range of video cards being displayed in the shop, something caught my eyes. It was something that is red and black and with an impressive and sophisticated outlook. That was when I fell in love with the new VisionTek Radeon HD 4870 video card.
The ATI Radeon HD 4870 Series GPUs claimed to deliver a cinematic gaming experience with unprecedented performance and it definitely promised what it claimed. On top of the overwhelming performance I had, I was able to watch Blu-ray movies and play HD content with incredible visual fidelity. Wow! Playing my usual game had never been that smooth before until I had purchased the Radeon HD 4870 Series. I had amazing new experiences with my new video card. Why don’t you get one and try it out yourself? I can assure you that you would not regret buying one.

I have my nephew and nieces coming over this weekend but I have one major problem. How am I going to entertain them? My house has no children board games. Neither do I have any toys for them to play with. Letting them use my computer for playing online games will surely be out of the idea as I have all my work backups there. One wrong move and all my lifetime work would be gone.
Maybe it’s time I should consider purchasing a Sony PS2 for the house. At least I can relax myself by playing one or two games too when I felt stress at work. Did you know that the Sony PlayStation had advanced so much that it has multiple functions now? You can anytime use PS CDROM, PS2 CDROM, PS2 DVDROM, or play Audio CD. On top of that, you can also play DVD Video where it is in DVDR or DVDRW formats. Isn’t it wonderful to have the all-in-one gadget in the house?
I wonder what PS2 games are available in the market now. I think I should get Half Life since I have not been playing the game for ages. Cabela’s Big Game Hunter and UEFA EURO 2008 might be fun to have too. I guessed I should head down to town now to get the discs before the shop closes.

I was asked to take in lots of Vitamin B and memory booster such as Gingko Bibola but I could not do so. I was even asked to consume lots of juices and fluids but still I could not. I dare not take the risk of burning myself out. Why? It is because I am not what I am supposed to be. I am the Central Processing Unit (CPU) of the much dependable computer. Day in and out, I will be churning out and processing millions of “0” and “1” and this is taxing my brains out.
This clearly proved that the life of a CPU is rather tedious. Without me, the life of human would not be easy too. All the human ever did was to laze around in front of the monitor and busy keying in lots of raw data. Can you imagine me working nonstop inside that small little humid cubicle of mine, sweating away to get those data processed? If I am too slow in getting my work done, I will also be cursed upon without fail. Sometimes I wondered if that human of mine ever care about my health? I will also need my beautiful rest as human do. Multi-tasking and working endlessly for days without having an opportunity to shut my eyes to have a decent rest, have become such a norm in my life.
I often wondered too if that human of mine realized that a little bit of additional assistance will ease my tension. It is so easy and affordable to just head out to the nearest computer shop to get me a new and upgraded brain. If not, I would not mind having another ram brother to help me out during the busiest hours of my life. Work loads will never stop but at least I will get to finish up all my duties in a shorter period of time. The faster work loads get done, the more chances of me getting more rest. After all, a healthier body will surely have a better mind. Don’t you think so?

What would you buy in this fast changing technological world of today to replace your current computer which has turned into a white elephant within just a few months? Should you get a laptop or a desktop computer? There is no right or wrong in getting either one as it all depends on your lifestyle and what applications you are going to use on it.
The main benefit of having laptop computers is the portability. You can practically take it anywhere, whether to the office or to your client’s place for some live presentations. With the easy access to the wifi connections in most of the hangout places nowadays, more and more people have opted for the laptop computer. Not only can they online to check their emails, they can even seal some deals outside of the office vicinity. This will indeed boost up sales for any companies.
As someone from the designing field, the only drawback I can think of having a laptop computer is the ability to process big graphical files. It tends to take up three to four times more to get a complicated graphic processed. Unless I get something which is far more technologically advance than a normal laptop configuration, it is just not up to my expectation. Moreover, the cost would be too high for me to justify the added cost.
On top of the disadvantages it posed to the designing field, I still got hold of a basic laptop computer. It is for the convenience sake of presenting to my client any files which they might not have the software to access. I still do all the complicated designing using my desktop whereas the end product would be transferred to the laptop for presentation purposes. All I can say is that laptops should be viewed as a purchase that should only be made when necessary.
