THE TOPPING OFF CEREMONY OF G HOTEL KELAWAI IN PENAN
The news of G Hotel Penang, an ultrachic contemporary 312-rooms design hotel located in Gurney Drive, opening their second hotel, named G Hotel Kelawai, located at 2 Persiaran Maktab, 10250 Penang, was indeed something to look forward to. We now would have yet another cool place to stay in with the services of 5-star hotel facilities. Scheduled to be fully functionally in the last quarter of 2014, G Hotel Kelawai would consist of a total of 208 rooms namely 143 Deluxe rooms, 63 units of Executive Rooms and 2 units of suites of which all are exquisitely designed with modern and stylish furniture. It will also accommodate three trendy and stylish food and beverage outlets – a coffee house, lobby lounge and a 23rd floor chill out to fulfill the guests’ gastronomic appetites. The hotel would also offer a fully equipped gymnasium, business centre and roof top infinity pool. Today, 25 April 2014, marked a memorable occasion for the G Hotel group as they had their “Topping Off Ceremony” on the 23d Floor of G Hotel Kelawai, officiated by the Chif Minister of Penang, YAB Lim Guan Eng, witnessed by YB Danny Law, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Development of Penang, Mr. Phuah Choon Meng, Mr. Phuah Ken Lin, directors of G Hotel, Mr. Michael Hanratty, General Manager of G Hotel, Mr. Harun Pilus, Directors of Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, Mr. Jason Sim, Penang Global Tourism, dignitaries, media and guests.
