HENNESSY VSOP KYRIOS LAUNCH AT THE ROOM @ AUTOCITY PENANG
After a successful launch of the Hennessy V.S.O.P KYRIOS, 3rd addition to Hennessy V.S.O.P’s Privilege Collection, at The Butter Factory, KL, down Central Malaysia, the party finally moved Northern to Penang (Room@Autocity) on 29 March 2013 for a second blasting launch. Party goers, fans of Hennessy and invited bloggers were treated to a resounding club experience with astounding performances by local and foreign deejays.
KYRIOS, which means “Guardian” in Greek, is the key to the codes of Hennessy V.S.O.P – elements which make Hennessy the world’s most loved V.S.O.P cognac today. KYRIOS comes after its predecessors Helios and Nyx of the Privilege Collection, this time representing a physical manifestation of the Codes: the Grapes, the emblematic “Bras Armé”, the year 1817, the Copper Colour, and the New Silhouette.
A matte, gray mantle envelopes its carafe, giving the KYRIOS a quiet, stop-and-stare evoking brilliance. Copper grapes decorate the bottle as a reminder of the ancestral savoir-faire and elaborate craftsmanship of the blend, while geometrical lines flank the Hennessy V.S.O.P label to accentuate the new silhouette.
The label itself is an innovation, as it is the very first 3D label to be used on a spirit bottle, proudly emblazoning an “1817” monogram which symbolizes the depth of time through which Hennessy V.S.O.P has thrived as the superior cognac. By night, KYRIOS comes alive as its geometrical lines glow in molten copper under black light; a stunning spectacle inside any club.
Of course, there were the beautiful promoters and models with body paintings to liven up the atmosphere.
The launch was spectacular with the models displaying the stunning 3rd edition of the privilege collection.
Fast-rising local stars B.A.T.E. (Brain & The Eye) opened the night with their signature Big Room and Electro mixes, steadily bringing the night’s momentum to its first peak – the parading of KYRIOS bottles, each held by a body painted Hennessy V.S.O.P model.
DJ Cookie from Taiwan took over the decks shortly after, unleashing a flow of Club, House and Electro mixes, which brought the first Hennessy V.S.O.P KYRIOS party outside the Klang Valley to a close.
