The weather has been humid over here with a 74% humidity and barely 1mph of wind. How could I have withstood such a high temperature in this country? Everyone has been cursing and rinsing off their nonstop flow of sweat from the forehead. The traffic jams over has not been any better too.
I think it is time to check the air conditioning system for my car. Even tuned to full blast, I am still sweating. Something is surely not right about the cooling system. I will need to get one that can control the filtration, air movement, temperature and humidity in my car and not one that ended up like a heater.
I have a problem here as I know nuts about the car’s air conditioning system. What could be wrong? There are just so many parts ranging from the a/c compressor, a/c receiver drier, a/c expansion device, a/c condenser and so on for me to identify. Hmm… who is the a/c compressor expert here? I have a feeling that this part might be the culprit.

I could still remember vividly that night when it happened. I was on a bike and had a collision with a dog on the road. The dog appeared be unharmed and ran away but I ended up be flung onto the road with bruises and swell on my right hand and right ankle. There was not much blood as I was wearing a long sleeves jacket and jeans on that night. Luckily I was not speeding and there were no oncoming cars or else I would be in heaven by now.
I was still able to walk although the weight of my big bike was right on top of my right ankle, and visited the nearest clinic. My face was all green from the mild shock I had when the doctor checked on my wounds. Bodily aches and pain crept in not long after that and the doctor prescribed Nurofen 400 to me as well as some Acriflavine to apply on the wound.
Everything was fine until I took the medication provided by the doctor. I thought being a bit drowsy was fine but it got worst. The world was twirling and swirling right in front of my eyes. My eyes became watery and itchy and my face was swollen. I tried to get up many times but was pinned down by the heaviness I felt on the head. It was like a living hell as I had to suffer for a whole day before the side effect went off.
I was again lucky to be alive. I found out through another doctor friend of mine that I had experienced an allergy reaction to NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and the culprit is ibuprofen which was in the Nurofen tablets that I had consumed. Can you imagine the danger of not knowing what was in the medicine when you are staying alone? From then onwards, I studied and worked closely with an allergist on the drugs that I am sensitive to and got the list engraved on a medical bracelet. I might have escaped death this time but I might not be so lucky the next time.
If you have history of severe reactions because of drug allergy or aspirin sensitivity, it is advisable that you wear one of the assortments of medical id bracelets easily available in the market. This is to ensure that in cases of emergencies, the attending personnel will be alerted on the medications that you are allergic to.

As I was mentioning earlier this week, I had my blood test taken today. Even before the results of my total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, total cholesterol/HDL-cholesterol ration and glucose analysis were to be out later this week, my blood pressure, body fat and body mass index readings were rather scary. Even when the medical assistant was reading the sphygmomanometer, she was practically looking at my whole body with a soft sigh.
Argghh… I hated that look in her eyes! True enough, she gave me a sharp stare and slapped me with the verdict, “You are overweight and your result won’t be great at all. When was the last time you ever go for some exercise or go on strict diet?” What? Exercise? Where do I have the time when I have piles of unfinished work lining on my table every single day? I do not even have time to walk to the pantry to get myself some coffee to freshen up a bit.
I have tried going through many diet exercises throughout my life but ended up heavier than before. Why? It is because I love to eat and food had always ruined my determination to lose some weights. I wanted to try out the many kinds of diet pills in the market but stopped myself from buying without proper dietitian’s advice. I think I better make an appointment with a dietitian soon to find out more on safe diet pills.
In the mean time, I will have to wait for my blood test results to be out at the end of this weekend before I can consult a dietitian. I hope that my sodium, potassium, urea, creatinine, urine FEME and specific gravity results would also be stable.

I have known many friends in the USA having financial problems in keeping their property during the recent economy crisis. With the steep hike in the gas prices, more and more people would be affected. Thus, it won’t be long before they are going to be homeless. Isn’t it a huge headache to decide whether to use the limited money available to buy gases or to get food for the family?
I have experienced the pinch in my pocket too recently. With the amount of money I had earned through my sleepless fight against time and opportunity to get more income, I ended up spending more on my medical bills which is no longer cheap. The worst thing that ever happened here is that with the increase in gasoline price, the prices of groceries also shot up rocket high. What I bought few months back had gone up almost double. Can you imagine what will happen next if I were to spend without thinking of the actual needs for the items I had always wanted?
Luckily I am more fortunate than most of my friends out there. At least I have a roof over my head and a place to sleep comfortably in now. The best thing that I had done was to pay off my house when I was capable of doing so. Even if I were to be hard hit by the slowdown in my businesses, I can still rely on applying for mortgage loans.
I have heard from my friends that even the financial institutions are forcing many people out of their property in the US at the present moment just to cut loses during this economy crisis. So, who else can they rely on? Well, there are many reputable mortgage lenders in the market who are compassionate enough to assist you in your financial woes. Who knows by considering one of them may just help you save your property for many generations to come.

I have my nephew and nieces coming over this weekend but I have one major problem. How am I going to entertain them? My house has no children board games. Neither do I have any toys for them to play with. Letting them use my computer for playing online games will surely be out of the idea as I have all my work backups there. One wrong move and all my lifetime work would be gone.
Maybe it’s time I should consider purchasing a Sony PS2 for the house. At least I can relax myself by playing one or two games too when I felt stress at work. Did you know that the Sony PlayStation had advanced so much that it has multiple functions now? You can anytime use PS CDROM, PS2 CDROM, PS2 DVDROM, or play Audio CD. On top of that, you can also play DVD Video where it is in DVDR or DVDRW formats. Isn’t it wonderful to have the all-in-one gadget in the house?
I wonder what PS2 games are available in the market now. I think I should get Half Life since I have not been playing the game for ages. Cabela’s Big Game Hunter and UEFA EURO 2008 might be fun to have too. I guessed I should head down to town now to get the discs before the shop closes.
